Kelsey’s Fundraiser for Mid-North Food Pantry

As many of you know, I’ve been with Mid-North Food Pantry for a little over a year now. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand what compassion, respect, and dignity can do for a neighbor who simply needs help. Getting the chance to play even a small part in this work has been very meaningful.

This year alone, we have already fed 24,000 families. I’ve had the opportunity to speak with many of them including parents choosing between groceries and gas, seniors stretching a fixed income, families doing everything right but still struggling to get by. Knowing we are here for them brings comfort. But it also reminds us just how fragile food security is for so many.

Recently, in just one two-hour shift, we served 307 people, the highest number in our nearly 50-year history. That sobering moment made something very clear: the need is larger than ever, and we cannot meet it without significant community support.

That’s why I’m launching this personal fundraiser.
