About Hamilton County Kids Coats

For more than 20 years, Hamilton County Kids Coats has worked to make sure children in our community have the winter clothing they need to stay warm, confident, and ready to learn. Each year, we serve more than 2,000 local children, providing winter coats at no cost to families throughout Hamilton County. 

Our mission is simple: every child deserves a warm tomorrow. Through partnerships with local schools, churches, businesses, community organizations, donors, and volunteers, we collect and distribute winter coats throughout Hamilton County, bringing resources closer to the families who need them.

Where Your Donation Goes

Your financial support helps us purchase brand-new winter coats, hats, and gloves for children when donated inventory does not meet the sizes or needs of the families we serve. Donations also help support the work behind every coat we give away—including collecting and sorting thousands of coats, storage and warehouse needs, outreach to local families, and operating coat distribution events throughout Hamilton County.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps us continue providing warmth and dignity to local children. A winter coat may seem like a simple need, but for a child facing an Indiana winter without one, it can make a tremendous difference.
