We believe in an Indiana where Every Neighbor Belongs—where Hoosier Hospitality extends to transgender and gender-diverse Hoosiers. As public conversations increasingly target trans people, our community must respond with dignity, compassion, and real support. Many trans Hoosiers continue to face barriers to safety, visibility, and participation in everyday life.

GenderNexus is Indiana’s only trans-led, statewide nonprofit focused on supporting trans people and gender-diverse Hoosiers to access counseling, navigate healthcare and legal systems, and receive advocacy across the state.

Our goal is to raise $25,000, supported by $10,000 in matching gifts released throughout the campaign. These matches—some tied to donor milestones and others dollar-for-dollar—will help expand peer-support groups, strengthen care coordination, and deepen statewide education and advocacy.
